A short hello, who I am, and what I'll write about here.

Hi, I'm Alex. By day I build web products and online stores as a full-stack developer. In my own time I make small native apps for Mac and iPhone and sell them on the App Store, as one person.

This blog is where I'll write down what I learn along the way. Mostly things I wish I had found written up when I needed them.

What to expect

Shipping apps solo. Pricing, App Review, localization, screenshots, and what actually moves downloads.

Swift and SwiftUI. Patterns that held up in real apps, and the ones that didn't.

Cloudflare. Workers, D1, KV and R2 as the back end for small apps, including what they cost.

Working with AI agents. How I use coding agents every day, and how I review what they write.

Posts will come one at a time, when there is something worth saying. If you want to get them as they appear, there is an RSS feed.

If you have a question or a topic you'd like me to cover, write to message@alexstorozhenko.com.
